IQD’s Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) oscillators are a silicon based alternative to traditional quartz based oscillators. They offer low susceptibility to shock and vibration compared to quartz based products and are primarily intended for high volume applications in automotive and consumer markets. Our range of MEMS Oscillators includes both standard Clock and Voltage Controlled versions (VCMOs). One of the big advantages of MEMS oscillators is their very short production lead-times; they also offer a viable alternative to programmable crystal oscillators in some applications.
