Electronica launch for IQD’s tight stability TCXOTo ensure a smooth frequency slope, IQD’s new analogue ASIC based IQXT-274 Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator (TCXO) is tested using one frequency reading every 2 degrees C over the full operating temperature range. This combined with a high order compensation circuit delivers a frequency stability as tight as ±0.5ppm over -40 to +85 degrees C.

Housed in a miniature 3.2 x 2.5 x 1.1mm hermetically sealed ceramic package, the new TCXO deliver a phase noise performance of -145dBc/Hz. The new range is available in two options: TCXO & VCTCXO both with a frequency range of 10 to 40MHz with a clipped sinewave output and a maximum power consumption of 2mA. The IQXT-274 has a supply voltage range of 2.4V to 3.7V and the VCTCXO has a pullablity of between ±6ppm to ±50ppm.

Typical applications include Bluetooth, GPS/GNSS, Portable Navigation Devices, Wi-Fi, WiMax and WLAN. A range of IQXT-274 parts are available from stock through IQD’s extensive range of global distributors. Full data sheets are available on IQD’s website at www.iqdfrequencyproducts.com
